My former band shut down their Gigmasters account a couple of years ago (because the only leads we ever seemed to get were for one-hour, i.e. low-paying, gigs that were at least two hours away) but the band member who had originally set up the account is still receiving leads, but which show only the general location and type of venue and include no contact information—unless, of course, she pays to reactivate her membership.
Interestingly, these "mystery leads" are suddenly much closer (one hour or less) to us.
This is a rather cheesy business model. Not only is it unfair to anyone looking for vendors on Gigmasters, because these potential clients have no way of knowing that some of these bands no longer exist, it's also unconscionable to send "teaser" emails to former Gigmasters members in an effort to get that vendor to pay back in.
Review about: Gigmasters Musicians Leads.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
